Coonawarra Cabernet Celebrations is one of South Australia’s premier regional wine events, bringing together more than 50 unique food, wine and tourism experiences designed to showcase and celebrate Coonawarra’s signature varietal — Cabernet Sauvignon.
Delivered across three vibrant weekends from 1–18 October 2026, the festival invites visitors to immerse themselves in the flavours, stories and hospitality of the Coonawarra wine region during the beauty of spring.
From masterclasses and museum tastings to winery tours, long lunches, degustation dinners and live music, the program offers wine lovers, food enthusiasts and families alike the opportunity to discover why Coonawarra is regarded as Australia’s premier Cabernet Sauvignon producing region.

Cruise on in to Coonawarra for a fun-filled weekend with your family and friends. On this weekened there are activities to delight and amuse all ages. Hit the Coonawarra Wineries Walking Trail, or take to the greens for a round of golf and enjoy a wine or two with the who’s who of Coonawarra at the picturesque Penola Golf course.
Relax and enjoy pizza and tunes at Raidis Estate or ‘live it up’ with long weekend vibes served up all weekend at Brand’s Laira. Our cellar doors are well equipped with oodles of indoor and outdoor toys to make sure the kids have as much fun as the adults.

Immerse yourself in food and wine over the weekend with a casual sparkling cabernet breakfast at Balnaves of Coonawarra and a range of lunch and dinner options on offer, including the return of Majella’s ever popular Paella Fiesta, and Raidis’ immersive Murder in the Vines – 1920’s Mystery Dinner.
A highlight of the weekend is the highly sought-after Coonawarra Combined Wineries Cabernet Decade[nce] Tasting, bringing together multiple producers to showcase aged Cabernet Sauvignon alongside current release wines in a premium regional tasting experience.
There is no shortage of tastings to be enjoyed all weekend long… so gear up for a jam-packed weekend!

CCC SHUTTLE BUS: $22.50 per person per day. Unlimited travel to wineries between 10:30am and 4.30pm on Saturday’s and Sunday’s throughout October.
