Join Day 1 of the Australian Coonawarra Symposium (ACS) live from the symposium hub at Parker Coonawarra Estate or the satellite venue at Margaret River HEART.

DAY 2: FRIDAY 2 FEBRUARY 2024 (COONAWARRA ONLY)
Penley AGTech Field Walk
8:45AM- 1:30PM, starting at Penley Estate with catering and refreshments provided. Coffee, morning tea, lunch and a post-tour wine in the Cellar Door included.
*Note: A shuttle bus will transfer delegates from Penola (Departing 8:30am – Foodland) via the Coonawarra Township to the vineyard. For Bio Security reasons, it is requested that all delegates utilise this service. Organisers will contact Field Walk Participants the week of the event to confirm pickup arrangements
Following Day 1 of the symposium, It’s the perfect opportunity for delegates to stretch their legs, get amongst the vines and see how agtech is enhancing production at one of Australia’s premier Cabernet producers. Nine devices will be showcased live in action, with representatives for each explaining how they’re best deployed, their purpose, data collected, practicalities, insights and efficiencies they deliver, along with being available to answer your specific questions.
Hosted by Hans Loder Viticulturist and Vineyard Manager at Penley Estate, and Wine Australia supported Nuffield Scholarship recipient, whose topic of “here come the robots but what do we do with the data?” looked specifically at management and use of data generated by IoT devices.
