Celebrate our region’s rich history and artistic talents over three days with working artists, performances, exhibitions, workshops, walking tours, fabulous food and fine wine. The Penola Coonawarra Arts Festival is one of regional Australia’s leading arts festivals and it celebrates its 32nd anniversary in 2024.
Exhibitions, workshops, Festival flavours and performances are held in and around the township of Penola, and at many of Coonawarra’s winery cellar door’s.
Described by Brian Chatteron OAM, General Manager of Co-Opera, as ‘…surely one of the most culturally distinguished regional festivals in Australia’, the Festival has become a significant event in the state’s calendar.
