Weekend 4- En Primeur [Barrel to Glass] Tasting guide

This weekend En Primeur is the theme, with Coonawarra wineries offering exclusive Barrel to Glass tastings!

Celebrate, educate and activate your senses with an array of tasting experiences and food & wine events featuring Coonawarra’s champion variety- Cabernet Sauvignon.

Alongside the traditional tasting lineups, don’t miss your chance to taste newly produced wines, that aren’t destined for bottling and release for another year or two…or possibly longer!

While you are out and about, why not grab a light bite to eat? Mrs Zema is firing up the pizza oven to bring us her legendary homemade pizzas on Friday night, whilst Raidis will be churning out the pizza and tunes on Saturday for an afternoon of live music and family fun. There a plenty of delicious produce platters to enjoy or if long lunching is your style why not book yourself a table at Upstairs at Hollick for a spot of A La Carte Dining, or check out Ottelia in the heart of Coonawarra, a foodie’s delight with seasonal dishes made with fresh veggies from the Fodder garden, not to mention their mouthwatering sourdough pizzas.

For the ultimate dinner indulgence this weekend, be sure to secure your seat at the table at Parker Estate, with Pipers of Penola joining forces with local producer Benmore Hampshires to present a padock-to-plate dining experience!

Note: To avoid disappointment,  bookings to events are highly recommended.
