Coonawarra Comedy Club a highlight for Arts Festival

Wynns Coonawarra Estate in conjunction with the Penola/Coonawarra Arts Festival are proud to announce the 13th Coonawarra Comedy Club will be held this year at Penola’s Rymill Hall on Friday night, May 14, commencing at 7.30 pm.

Wynns Coonawarra has had a long association with the Festival and has been bringing comedy to the region since 2008.

Event Organiser and Wynns Coonawarra Cellar Door Manager, Tony Gleeson is excited for the return of the event and is confident a change of venue will ensure the comfort and safety of attendees.

“This year we have moved the venue to Rymill Hall in Penola from the Wynns Gables building due to limited capacity as a result of ongoing Covid restrictions. This way we can still put on an event for the people and continue the Comedy Club” he said.

“We have a fantastic line up of in-form comedians, guaranteeing a great night of laughter,” added Mr Gleeson.

The acts include Amos Gill, Mickey D and James McCann. All 3 comedians performed at the 2021 Adelaide Fringe, with Amos taking the stage for multiple shows at the 2021 Melbourne Comedy Festival.

The Comedy Club event is fully licenced with bar facilities as well as cheese platters available to purchase.

Limestone Coast locals and visitors are invited to come along to enjoy a night full of laughter. “We encourage people across the South East and Western Victoria to come along for a fun night out,” he said.

Tickets: $35.00 per person, available at wynns.rezdy.com or at artsfestival.com.au
