Coonawarra Vignerons Unveil 2020 Cup Trophy this Thursday

With Spring Carnival racing in full swing, members of the Coonawarra Vignerons, together with sponsors, partners and special guests, will gather on Thursday 7 November 2019 at the Royal Oak Penola to launch and unveil the 2020 36o South Coonawarra Vignerons Cup.

In what is a highlight on the country racing calendar, the 38th annual 36o South Coonawarra Vignerons Cup will return to the Penola Racecourse in January 2020 attracting up to 3,000 racegoers to the track.  Over 700 guests will be hosted in the Coonawarra Vignerons Marquee, indulging in premium trackside hospitality, fundraising and world-class Coonawarra wines.

For the 2nd consecutive year local business, 36o South (Tey’s Australia premium State SA brand), have partnered with the Coonawarra Vignerons to present the renowned event. Coonawarra Vignerons Executive Officer, Olivia James said “We are very excited to be welcoming 36o South back as partner for the 2020 Coonawarra Vignerons Cup and look forward to celebrating their involvement, along with that of all our sponsors and suppliers at the Launch. The prestigious Cup trophy will be on display at the Launch before it commences its journey via the Coonawarra Vignerons member wineries’ cellar doors on its way to the Penola Racecourse for the main event on Thursday 16th January. Locals and visitors alike are encouraged to pop into cellar doors as the cup moves along the famed Coonawarra strip from Friday 8th November 2019 to 15th January 2019.  See where the cup trophy will be via this link.

An exclusive limited number of public tickets are available to the premium trackside marquee, where up to 728 guests will be hosted by members of the Coonawarra Vignerons wine region community. Public tickets will go on sale online during the launch at 5pm on Thursday 7 November 2019. Information is available on the website event page:
