Coonawarra Showcasing at Cellar Door Festival

Coonawarra is coming to Adelaide to showcase at the multi-award winning Cellar Door Fest, a must-attend event for South Australian wine and produce lovers.

The Cellar Door Fest kicks off Adelaide’s “Mad March” festivities, providing the ultimate opportunity to learn all about South Australia’s unparalleled wine regions, buzzing craft brew and distillery scene and its incredible produce.

Coonawarra Wine Region will be well represented with 11 wineries in attendance:

Banks Thargo Wines Koonara Wines
Blok Estate Coonawarra Patrick of Coonawarra
Bowen Estate Penley Estate
DiGiorgio Family Wines Raidis Estate
Jack Estate Redman Wines
Zema Estate

Festival-goers are invited to enjoy complimentary tastings, meet the Winemakers, and immerse themselves in intimate behind-the-scenes culinary experiences.

The three-day event offers a vast program of intimate experiences. Amongst the Masterclasses on offer, Coonawarra will be hosting an exclusive Journey through Time Masterclass, hosted by Raidis Estate’s own Emma Raidis and Wine Writer Nick Ryan on Saturday 3rd March.

The Masterclass will feature a fine selection of heritage wines, from various wineries in the region, showcasing the evolving nature and age ability of Coonawarra Wine – a fact endorsed by generations of collectors around the world. Prominent Limestone Coast Chef and director/owner of Soul Projects, Kirby Shearing, will be enhancing the Masterclass event with his tantalising canape offerings.

Held at the Adelaide Convention Centre, Cellar Door Fest is anticipated to attract thousands of eager food and wine enthusiasts over the course of the weekend.
