2026 RACE DAY SHUTTLE BUS DETAILS

– FRIDAY 16 JANUARY –

OUT-OF-TOWN SERVICES

Bus transfers are available to Marquee guests travelling from:

Naracoorte – $30pp – Bus departing 10:05am from the Naracoorte Hotel, 73 Omerod Street. Option to board between Naracoorte + Coonawarra along the Riddoch Highway available.
Mount Gambier – $30pp – Bus departing 10:15am from FERRERS STREET Bus Stop opposite COLES Shopping complex.
Robe – $50pp – Bus departing 9:45am from Robe Visitor Information Centre, 1 Mundy Terrace, Robe.

Passengers using these services are required to book their seat in advance at a cost per head. Scroll down for more information, shuttle bus rules and guidelines and to BOOK YOUR SEAT.

All Buses will depart the Racecourse following the conclusion of the final race from approx. 5.30pm returning passengers to their nominated destinations on the same route.

COMPLIMENTARY SHUTTLE BUSES

Available to Marquee Guests staying within the Penola and Coonawarra Townships.

To help us better manage our numbers, we ask that guests indicate the number of passengers requiring pick up and the desired boarding location. Scroll down to INDICATE WHERE YOU’LL BE BOARDING.

PENOLA

Two dedicated coaches will be servicing the Penola township loops, with the first pick-up delivering passengers to the racecourse by 11am. The 2nd run shall deliver Marquee guests to the Racecourse by 11:30am. Let us know where you will be boarding BUS 1 or BUS 2 via the ticketing platform below.

BUS 1 – SOUTHERN END – First pick up 10:40am | 2nd Pick up 11:10am
Penola Coonawarra Caravan Park => Alexander Cameron Suites => Royal Oak (Church Street)

BUS 2 – NORTHERN END – First pick up 10:40am | 2nd Pick up 11:10am
Prince of Wales Hotel (58 Church Street) => Coonawarra Motor Lodge => Must@Coonawarra

COONAWARRA

The Coonawarra Shuttle will be serviced by the Naracoorte Transfer bus and will collect passengers en route to the racecourse. Please select the Coonawarra Shuttle Bus option to reserve your seat. Guests staying in accommodation along the Riddoch Highway may be collected on the roadside with prior arrangement.

Shuttle Bus Rules and Guidelines

To ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers, the following rules apply across all services:

All passengers must remain seated while the bus is in motion.
Seatbelts must be worn at all times, if provided.
Follow all instructions from the bus driver or staff promptly.
Standing or moving around the bus while it is moving is strictly prohibited.
Food, drink, and smoking are not permitted on the bus unless otherwise specified.
Respect fellow passengers and maintain appropriate behaviour at all times.

Failure to comply with these rules may result in refusal of service or removal from the bus, without refund

Refund policy

Refunds will only be considered if:

Advance notice is given by the passanger/ ticket purchaser prior to midday Tuesday 13th January, 2025, where the ticket may be re-released for sale.
If the event or associated activity is cancelled or postponed by the organiser.
If the shuttle service is unable to operate due to unforeseen circumstances such as extreme weather, mechanical failure, or safety concerns.
If significant schedule changes are made by the organiser that materially affect your travel plans.

Failure to attend the scheduled service will result in a 100% cancellation fee.

Booking changes and cancellations are requested to be communicated to the organiser. Any refund approved will be less applicable booking and administrative fees.

Decisions regarding refunds or credits are at the sole discretion of the organiser and are considered final.
