SUMMARY:BELLWETHER WINES | Sips in the Sticks
DESCRIPTION:Join the team at Bellwether wines in the rustic surrounds of the 1868 Glenroy Shearing Shed for the long awaited return of ‘Sips In The Sticks’. \nThis year’s theme is ‘Surviving and thriving’ –   a long lunch with lots of laughs\, wine\, stories and the eye watering judgement of desserts to see which winemaker can win the judges approval with not their wine\, though there is plenty of that – but their dessert. \nSips in the Sticks started back in 2013 with the CWA catering before the Glen Roy Shearing Shed was renovated. The judging and feedback given by the ladies on the day lead by local food identity Kate Spencer\, was brutal and most entertaining to guests. This tradition lives on today with a perpetual trophy of the late Kate Spencer in the form of a wonderful Trevor Smith crocheted tea cosy. \nLocked in is good friend and famed chef Clare Falzon of Staguni\, Sue Bell of Bellwether (of course)\, Corrina Wright (Oliver’s Taranga)\, Kate Goodman (Penley Estate)\, Guy Parkinson (Skillogallee)\, Dave Bowley (Vinterloper) and Charlotte Hardy (Charlotte Dalton wines). \nYou can be assured of a star studded\, thoughtful line up\, with really interesting wines and stories. \n  \nDATE | SUNDAY 23 AUGUST\n\nTIME | 12noon- 4pm\n\nCOST | $185PP\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe tickets are hot property\, with only 70 available.
