At 3pm sharp – a smaller vessel\, ‘The Jackson Flyer‘\, will collect any guests waiting at the wharf for transfer to the Starship. Guests reliant on this service are asked to contact the event organiser on 0447 165 720\, to confirm pick up on the day.  \nSubject to weather conditions\, Starship Sydney will cruise throughout the Harbour from Homebush Bay to Watsons Bay taking in all the Harbour highlights.  Starship Sydney is very stable when cruising the Harbour. As with all vessels on the water it will move\, but the motion is very soft and comfortable. \nIt is recommended for guests prone to motion sickness that the appropriate preventative measures are taken by the individual prior to boarding. It is very rare for guests to suffer from seasickness as the Harbour water is very calm and Starship Sydney is very stable. \n2 PICK UPS AVAILABLE || The “Jackson Flyer” (small transfer boat) has been prescheduled to transfer any guests wishing to return to shore during the event at 3:15pm and 4:15pm. Please see event organiser onboard the Starship Sydney to confirm your intent to use this service\, prior to disembarking. \nWheelchair Access: There is ramp access to the Main Deck where majority of our event will take place onboard\, however bathrooms are located down one flight of stairs from this level. It is also expected we will utilise the middle deck which would require movement up a set of stairs. SUMMARY:BELLWETHER WINES | Sips in the Sticks
DESCRIPTION:Join the team at Bellwether wines in the rustic surrounds of the 1868 Glenroy Shearing Shed for the long awaited return of ‘Sips In The Sticks’. \nThis year’s theme is ‘Surviving and thriving’ –   a long lunch with lots of laughs\, wine\, stories and the eye watering judgement of desserts to see which winemaker can win the judges approval with not their wine\, though there is plenty of that – but their dessert. \nSips in the Sticks started back in 2013 with the CWA catering before the Glen Roy Shearing Shed was renovated. The judging and feedback given by the ladies on the day lead by local food identity Kate Spencer\, was brutal and most entertaining to guests. This tradition lives on today with a perpetual trophy of the late Kate Spencer in the form of a wonderful Trevor Smith crocheted tea cosy. \nLocked in is good friend and famed chef Clare Falzon of Staguni\, Sue Bell of Bellwether (of course)\, Corrina Wright (Oliver’s Taranga)\, Kate Goodman (Penley Estate)\, Guy Parkinson (Skillogallee)\, Dave Bowley (Vinterloper) and Charlotte Hardy (Charlotte Dalton wines). \nYou can be assured of a star studded\, thoughtful line up\, with really interesting wines and stories. \n  \nDATE | SUNDAY 23 AUGUST\n\nTIME | 12noon- 4pm\n\nCOST | $185PP\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe tickets are hot property\, with only 70 available.

Followed by a sit-down lunch with members of the DiGiorgio Family. \nLearn about the history of the DiGiorgio Family and the art of pasta-making before rolling up your sleeves and getting stuck into making your own batch. The DiGiorgio family will guide you through the kneading\, rolling\, cutting and cooking process\, before sitting down to enjoy your creations with a handmade traditional sauce\, Parmigiano Regiano\, crusty bread and a green salad. \nA selection of tasty nibbles will be provided during the process\, with a traditional dessert\, coffee and biscotti to finish.
