2019 Homeless Grapes Project Community Pick | Coonawarra

April 14 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm ACST

Spend a morning amongst the vines picking grapes and help change the lives of those experiencing homelessness, Sunday14th April, starting at Raidis Estate and working your way to Hollick Estates to finish at Patrick of Coonawarra.

Vinomofo and six Coonawarra wineries are joining forces for the second time to make a beautiful cabernet entirely for charity – Homeless Grapes Coonawarra 2019

The last few grapes for this wine are going to be picked as a community event on Sunday April 14 in Coonawarra and we want YOU to be part of the story.

The pick will begin at Raidis Estate at 10am, then onto Hollick Estate, finishing at Patrick of Coonawarra around 1pm.

It will be an awesome day and of course, we’ll make sure the important things in life are covered – food and wines will be provided post pick from 1pm onwards.

All proceeds from the sale of this wine will be donated to local Mount Gambier charity ac.care. And we’re inviting anyone local to come along and be a winemaker for a morning; with grub, drinks, crushing, stomping and music at Patrick of Coonawarra after the picking is finished. Your graciously donated time will ensure that EVERY CENT from the sale of this wine will go directly to those experiencing homelessness in the Limestone Coast.

The wine made will be a Coonawarra cabernet sauvignon, made by Coonawarra’s finest – Hollick Estates, Raidis Estate, Patrick of Coonawarra, Penley Estate, Redman Wines and Sam Brand. Please show them some love for their generosity and support!

After the pick there will be a picking party with live music, food, wine and grape stomping action for everyone to celebrate.
