FASHIONS IN THE MARQUEE

Food, wine and fashion – it all goes hand in hand. What’s a race day without Fashion on the Field?…or in our case FASHION’S IN THE MARQUEE!

Open exclusively to Marquee guests, Fashion’s in the Marquee is a hotly contested affair- and not just by the ladies by any means!

Ran a little differently than the usual Fashions on the Field events, qualifying guests are shortlisted exclusively by our guest judges who will scout out the room between Breakfast and Lunch to find the most dapper male and glamorous female contenders for our fashion prizes.

Prizes are awarded to the best-dressed male, best-dressed female, and for best millinery as selected by the judges.

A People’s Choice Award was also introduced in 2023, which invites marquee guests to nominate their top pick of the day – rewarding a best dressed in the eyes of the people!

Over $800 worth of prizes will be up for grabs:

Best Dressed Female: Voucher for a 2-Hour Wardrobe Audit by Kellie Nobes Styling ($180) + $200 Ashlee Lauren A’EL ESTË Voucher + Bottle of Coonawarra Wine

ASHLEE KALANTARIAN (aka. Ashlee Lauren)

Founder of A’el Este (formerly Ashlee Lauren Designs), Ashlee is a world class headware Designer who specialises in hand-crafting couture and ready to wear bridal accessories, crowns, millinery and jewellery that are unique yet timeless.

In 2017 Ashlee Lauren’s Designer pieces featured at New York Fashion Week, elevating what was a modest hobby into a highly successful business, with international stars seeking out Ash’s exquisite and unique designs!

A’el Este has stockists across Australia including Myer. A dedicated A’el Este Limestone Coast studio is located in Mount Gambier – 12A James St, Mount Gambier SA 5290.

KELLIE NOBES

Kellie Nobes is a talented designer and qualified Fashion Stylist, operating a Fashion Styling and Image Consulting business in Mount Gambier.

Specialising in Personal, Editorial and Commercial Styling with experience also in Runway Styling and Shoot Styling, she provides full wardrobe audits or special occasion styling.

Career Highlights include styling women for four AFL Brownlow Medal Awards, Celebrity Styling for personalities from House Rules, The Bachelor, The Block and Bachelor in Paradise, as well as styling exclusive accessory designer Ashlee Lauren’s runway show for New York Fashion Week in 2017, and styling runways at Adelaide Fashion Festival, Cairns Fashion Week and Thailand Fashion week.
