Due to the nature of the nominated venue, guests are requested to meet at the designated pier, King Street Wharf 4 in Darling Harbour by 1:45pm ready to board the vessel at 2pm Sharp.  The vessel is scheduled to depart the Wharf at 2:20pm.

Late-comers will have ONE OPPORTUNITY to be transferred to the ship following its departure from the Wharf. At 3pm sharp – a smaller vessel, ‘The Jackson Flyer‘, will collect any guests waiting at the wharf for transfer to the Starship. Guests reliant on this service are asked to contact the event organiser on 0447 165 720, to confirm pick up on the day. 

Subject to weather conditions, Starship Sydney will cruise throughout the Harbour from Homebush Bay to Watsons Bay taking in all the Harbour highlights.  Starship Sydney is very stable when cruising the Harbour. As with all vessels on the water it will move, but the motion is very soft and comfortable.

It is recommended for guests prone to motion sickness that the appropriate preventative measures are taken by the individual prior to boarding. It is very rare for guests to suffer from seasickness as the Harbour water is very calm and Starship Sydney is very stable.

2 PICK UPS AVAILABLE || The “Jackson Flyer” (small transfer boat) has been prescheduled to transfer any guests wishing to return to shore during the event at 3:15pm and 4:15pm. Please see event organiser onboard the Starship Sydney to confirm your intent to use this service, prior to disembarking.

Wheelchair Access: There is ramp access to the Main Deck where majority of our event will take place onboard, however bathrooms are located down one flight of stairs from this level. It is also expected we will utilise the middle deck which would require movement up a set of stairs. The vessel does have a stair walker than can assist non-electric wheelchairs to move between the decks, if this is required please contact the event organiser at least 72 hours in advance of the event: marketing@coonawarra.org
