Due to Government restrictions placed on licensed venues throughout South Australia, public access to cellar doors for wine tastings remains off-limits. However, as of 15th April 2020, wineries are permitted to sell alcohol, food or other products on a takeaway basis thanks to a new directive from the South Australian Police.
Since this announcement a select few Coonawarra cellar doors are taking advantage of the revised directive, offering contactless pick up of their products.
